Even though Josh is world record holding powerlifter, he primarily trains regular folks who are interested in looking better and improving their general health and wellness. SPORT SPECIFIC TRAINING
Josh is a former high school football and track star who served as a team captain in both sports; in fact he received numerous awards in other sports as well. After a year of college football, he made the decision to become a full-fledged strength athlete.
Josh served as the head strength and conditioning coach for Carpinteria High School from 2000 to 2003. During this time Carpinteria was always highly ranked and was voted California Small School State Champions in 2002. In 2004 Josh worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach under Doc Kreis of UCLA, working primarily with football, basketball, softball, soccer and girls' tennis. Josh particularly enjoys working more one-on-one with individuals or small groups. His clients get the specific attention that rewards them with visible results. Josh has trained many athletes including a world champion in Jiu Jitsu, an all-American thrower and pro football players.
